Why would the rantings of a democrat activist make you hate religion.

Satan has a special place reserved in Hell for Phelps.

Yup...this is just another case when religion takes a hideous detour...

This is not religion. It is hatred under the guise of God. Someone needs to show him the way to the true God... and soon!

this isn’t religion - this is mental illness and hatred hidden in a cloak of “religion”.
There will be plenty of religious folks at V.Tech who will be doing their best to help the survivors.
Many of the grieving will also be religious folk who will only be hurt by this wacko.

He does it for money, not religion. He wants someone to try to stop him, so he can then sue and have exhorbitant attorney's fees paid...when his own "Foundation" acts as attorney.
See Civil Right Attorney's Fees Award Act. It's the same MO as the ACLU suing over religious symbols.

Sometimes I despise religion. What does that have to do with religion? The guy is a left wing radical hiding behind a facade. He seems to have a steady flow of funds and it aint from conservatives.

It's the self righteous that make religion look bad.
To protest a funeral or make a scene at a funeral is not Christ like.... those who do this are into it by selfish reasons.
I consider Fred Phelps made out of the same cloth as Jim Jones, in other words, it is a Cult.

Sometimes I despise religion. This man and his followers delusions have nothing to do with religion. Do you despise a cross because the KKK burns one in a black person's yard? Phelps uses religion in the same way, it's just a prop. Religion isn't to blame here. Despise Phelps and his followers and their hateful ideas and actions.

Sometimes I despise atheists.
Now that we got that out of the way, what does your comment have to do with anything? This guy isn’t religious, he’s a nutcase.

Phelps is as religious as the Mohammadans. Both are evil political cults.

Phelps & his coo coo crew have nothing to do with religion. The “church” is a home. All the “members” are related. He’s a democrat, a disbarred lawyer & was a very good friend of algore. They do this stuff for money. They incite so they can sue. Filing lawsuits can be profitable apparently.
