I didn't say that American soldiers were trained to "slaughter" innocent "civilians" or that there's no moral difference as per your mentioned scenario. Sadly, our argument is getting to be rather circular. It appears that I did somehow touch a nerve.
Private ownership of firearms is illegal in China. Before the current media play is done, that's all that the general public will need to know in order to reject the DV story as being true or of primary importance.
I haven't appreciated seeing PLA troops coming into our universities through the efforts and/or lack of discipline of Vietnam-era administrators and commanders. ...good day.
