You make a good point. I for one was responding to the comments of the president, which struck me as especially inappropriate. The president and the police chief should probably refrain from trying to justify their actions (or inaction) until more facts are available.

So, here's the question. Would you want your child to return to classes in a university that mishandled this massacre so badly?

If students and parents lose confidence in the administration of a university operation, it's over.
