I think we should be rehashing this. What it demonstrates is that when law abiding people are not allowed to arm themselves, criminals can shoot us like fish in a barrel.
Sorry to all those affected negatively by such a harsh statement but this is a case where the truth hurts.
Simply stated, government restrictions played a major cause in many deaths today. I just heard a fella on FOX say, this person had to be armed with an “automatic” weapon because you cannot shoot that many people with a revolver. CRIPES!
This insanity has got to STOP. An armed public would have saved many people’s lives and it is time our government answer for their gun control policy failures!
That's what I have always said about school lock downs. When I taught, I thought there was no way I would sit in a classroom with an armed nutter in the building. We were on the second floor, but there was a bank so it wouldn't have been a far jump. I always thought I would try to get my kids out the window and into the woods 35 feet away for cover if anything crazy happened. I always thought I would rather be fired and alive with the students than remembered as a great teacher who always followed the rules at my funeral...
If he killed himself, then it shows that no one in law enforcement actually stopped the guy...If he was not out of ammunition, he may have killed more.
I demand the right to protect myself in situations such as these. Where were those who disarmed those poor souls when the time came for defending them?
