I’m in college and I would feel incredibly uncomfortable going to class surrounded my random people with firearms. College students drink a lot and do stupid things. They don’t need to be carrying guns around.

Those that carry LEGALLY don't usually do things like get drunk while carrying. How may drunk folks do you see in class? If you are not comfortable around people that may or may not be armed you should spend the rest of your life at home, hiding in a hole.
When I was in college I knew people that carried concealed on campus, it made be feel much safer. I often carried a knife because that was legal there without a permit.

CBS now reporting 30 fatalities and they are running the Jamal A cellphone footage with audible gunshots and screams. My god, it sounds awful. Just chilling.

I should spend my life in a hole because being surrounded by armed students would make me uncomfortable? It isn’t your typical permit-holding gun carrier that would make me uncomfortable. It’s the random idiots who would carry his/her gun to class bnecause he/she LOVE GUNS. Don’t act like those people don’t exist and aren’t plentiful. Should we be able to carry guns into stadiums too? I’m not an advocate of gun-conrol but I don’t think the solution to this problem is to allow students to take guns into classrooms. Faculty? Sure. I know way too many people who I wouldn’t want carrying a gun on campus.
