SPECULATION ALERT: If the one story is to be believed, he was looking for his ex-girlfriend, and knew what floor her class was but not which class. That would equally explain his hitting the 2nd floor, and would further explain his shooting multiple classrooms, as he didn’t find her in the first room.
If that story is true, I presume we will eventually have the girl’s story. In another scenario, the girlfriend was shot in the dorm, so in that case you need a different explanation.
We need to wait for more and more accurate facts before we jump to conclusions of some conspiratorial hit job.
I don’t think it’s unbelievable that a guy could kill that many people without specialized training. Modern video games could well train a guy to be “good enough” to kill dozens of people who are stuck in classrooms and waiting to be shot.
Wasn't his ex girlfriend killed in the dorm, along with the RA?
Wouldn’t Cho be looking for the new boyfriend at his class in Norris, since he shot his gf earlier than morning?
I actually had that thought today (had not read your post) that this shooter might have been a video game guy - would like to know if the police / parents find that to be true...and not saying video games cause mass shootings. Just saying you're right - a lot of kids/others learn a lot about shooting from these games.
But they don't learn how to actually load and unload a handgun that way. Wouldn't that take some practice to have done what he did as efficiently as apparently he did?
That still doesn't mean military training.....
Do we know now that the Cho guy was definitely the guy who shot the girl and RA in the dorm? I know they said the bullets matched up with the guns - at both scenes - but did anybody see the shooter at the dorm? Seemed like that wasn't the case by the report at the news conference yesterday. And again, I haven't seen all the news of today about this so don't know what's been said about the dorm shooting.
