Around about Memorial Day in the month after the Columbine murders I read an account online about one of the Trenchcoat Mafia founders, a graduate from a couple of years prior---I think the one who made the movie about going into the school and committing a massacre. He was the son of one of the lead investigators of the murders. Yessir, Daddy worked for one of them big Fedgov institutions. Gosh coincidences are neat. I got to thinkin' that I should go back and copy that story but SHAZZAMM it had vanished into the memory hole. Welcome to 1984.
PS: IIRC he had a French-sounding last name and the story was in the Rocky Mountain News.
