That almost reminds me of poor Haing S. Ngor. Many may not recall the name. But he was the academy award winner in something like 1983 for the Best Supporting Actor.

Here he escapes all kinds of hell, torture, Khmer Rouge genocide, landminds, makes it to SAFETY, to the WEST, to our BELOVED UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

He is here but for 15 years, and then is gunned down in some parking lot in LA at late night because three, high gang-bangers with pistols and tough attitudes wanted his necklace (which was his only remembrance of his wife in Cambodia and which he would not surrender).

The poor man comes to the dream and safety of America, and is gunned down by own own, stinking, inner city animals/thugs. How ironic?

What’s wrong with these foreign universities? Why do they feel so obliged to send so many students to American institutions?
