that law should be changed if indeed that is the Virginia law. the 2nd amendment does not extend to non-citizens, let’s get real here. I don’t care how pro-RKBA you are, a foreign national here on a visa should not be able to purchase a gun.

oh i agree, i just see there being a line or two in any legislation that is close to this incident extending to reaches further than the intent. not to mention i'm sure a lot of pork will be backloaded etc. ad nauseum. if there is one thing you can bet on, it's that politicians will use a terrible situation to their advantage. and you can bet there will be "tough on crime" touting cons and "tough on guns" touting libs behind a bill that starts ebbing away rights. i just hope i'm wrong.

the point is - such a law actually hurts the 2A rights of americans. why do we have to extend that right to foreign nationals?
