I think since the word "oriental" became politically incorrect, "asian" has replaced it.

I only learned that about a year ago. Maybe someone called this guy an oriental and he went postal.

I’ve been chastised for “that word”. I will continue saying “oriental” until someone decides to call me “American” instead of white. Now I do it more to deliberately be unPC. ;-)
