Brief complete speculation: His girlfriend said she slept with other kids (maybe to “hurt” him), and so he walks to her class, and says “I’m looking for (her name), and anybody who says they know the name he shoots?.
But since some reports say he didn’t ask anybody anything, I’m just watching for more definitive information before drawing any conclusions. I’ll just say that so far I have no problem believing any of the story, but seriously wonder why, after a 7:15 am shooting with a gunman on the loose ANYBODY was in a classroom 2 hours later.
Other man flees the classroom and gunman follows shooting along the way?
Does the “name withheld until next-of-kin are notified” rule apply in the case of murderers? If so, and if this guy is a foreign student from somewhere in Asia, that might explain the delay in giving out his identity.
That could be. If the whole girlfriend store is accurate, I think he went to her to say 'goodbye' she figured out what he was up to and tried to stop him or threatened to call the police, he shot her and the RA and then he went about his business on the other side of the campus.
Your scenario raises a couple of questions. Was he looking for the girlfriend or was the girlfriend already dead at the time of the main attack? Why can’t they identify the boyfriend through the dead girlfriend? Surely someone knew they were dating.
On the other hand, some thought the Cory Lidle accident was another 9/11. I don’t know, it just seems to be that if the facts are as they have been portrayed, we should know far more than we do as of the moment. I could be wrong.
Irrelevant. If they cancelled classes, the kids would gather somewhere. The campus would not have been rendered safe by cancelling classes.
