Aside from you, I’ve been taking it on the chin (excepting 1 reasonable dissenter). Don’t talk about “student gun ban” or “irresponsible collegiates” here. Just lie low.

I wonder if those calling for the arming of all students on campus are the same posters who bemoan the radical and violent students on campus. Most college students are leftist, and some advocate violence. It is tempting to think that some hero would rise up and stop this guy, but isn’t it also likely there could be a series of smaller incidents without a ban, instead of one major incident with a ban? Or a case of mistaken pre-emption?
Both sides are sickeningly taking advantage of this situation, but obviously the gun nut faction is far more vocal here on FR.
