Over the shoulder isn’t that great an idea for people with abdominal injuries. I think they didn’t know whether they had the shooter, just knew they had injured and wanted to get them to safety as quickly as possible, thus the ‘grab and dash’ instead of waiting for the medics. Not a bad move in my opinion.

Grab and dash of the wounded is the only thing that makes sense if the shooter is nearby and armed with any kind of a decent rifle. Until the shooter is neutralized or moves off to a total different area EMS wouldn’t and shouldn’t go to the victims.

Good points. Internal injuries could be made much worse by fling them over the shoulder.
