I'll say this as a not very religious person who does tend to follow the Catholic Church. Rudy's extramarital adventures are not why he's not my first choice. For me, his stances on abortion, the 2nd Amendment, and gay marriage are the deal breakers. But for Rudy backers to be trying to smear Fred Thompson for going out on dates while single is like Bill Clinton going after Bob Dole for a sex scandal.

I abhor his positions on the issues you have cited, but “if” he’s the one left standing between Hillary and the White House, he’ll get my vote and support.

I cannot begin to fathom Hillary or any democrat in the role of Commander in Chief. Our military deserves better.
