Stop it. We can debate and be civil. Name-calling is for children.

Who said anyone wasn’t going to bring up a legitimate story? Who said anyone had any problem with people posting legitimate stories, good or bad about any candidate.

When you stop doing that and start reposting articles on complete non-issues for no reason other than to attempt a pathetic smear on a candidate, then you are unfortunately headed into twitsville. Sorry!

There is a huge difference between being single and dating and being married and dating.

Debate what? What’s there to debate here?

Listen I have only posted positive threads about Fred. And if you google that is basically that is all that is out there right now because he’s not running yet. When a possible candidate finally makes the decision then the MSM decides that its time. You know that as well as I do.

Lesson in being a "swinging single" in DC.

Be a gentleman.
Ask a lady to a "Waltz'
Date only one lady at a time.
Enjoy the attention of ALL the ladies at an event.
Decline the advances of aforementioned ladies.
Build friendships that last a lifetime.
Go home with the same lady you came with.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

:O)

P

Run, FRED, run!

I see. A rumor. Thanks for clarifying.

Whoever wins the GOP nomination, I wonder how long it will take for the rift @ FR to heal.

I searched to see if this article had been posted previously. It had not. I don't repost articles.

"Oh, my! You mean he was a successful single man who DATED beautiful, successful women??!?"

Well, that's all well and good. Apparently he treated them well, as opposed to many other politicians whose antics are notable for drownings and rapes.

More importantly however, I'd be interested in where he was and what he was doing as young men his age were training to defend the nation; an appropriate question on Patriot's Day.

I plan to work and vote for whoever gets the nomination, so I'll have no rifts to heal.

I wouldn’t worry. A rumor is just that - a rumor. And the rumor was started by the husband of the woman who was pregnant I believe. She worked on a Republican Campaign or Committe at the time. The main point I was trying to make is that because Fred hasn’t said he’s running yet - he will get a break from the MSM. BUT once he runs (you know as well as I do if you supported any candidate ever for election) that the MSM will bring everything they can get their hands on out in the open. Especially if he/she is Republican. They love that. I think Fred is aware of that and I think he is prepared. I just don’t think that the people who like Fred on FR are prepared quite yet.

If voters on the right think Rudy Giuliani's love life is too racy, what will they think about Fred Thompson? The former Tennessee senator, who is considering his own run for the GOP nomination, was a swinging single during most of his eight-year tenure in the Senate, making him a favorite of gossip columnists...

O.K., so what? At least he was not married, unlike Giuliani, Clinton, Gingrich, and countless other politicos out there who keep honeys on the side.

Georgette Mosbacher is the only one on the list that gives me the creeps. That woman is trouble to any man alive.

I'll just assume he was drunk one night, and let it go at that . . .

According to Wikpedia, he was born in '42, so he pretty much missed Korea (too young) and Vietnam (too old). He spent his 18-25 years (1960-67) in college and law school.
