VERY SHORT report on the dedication of Honor Flight Facility in Springfield OH last Wednesday. I will be posting a separate thread on it this week hopefully. Am so covered up with life right now. Please pass the word on this links in the mean time.
This is the effort to get at WW2 vets to DC for a day.All free, they see their monument & the others in area, have lunch & return home.
Although the 2 year old program for now is limited to WW2 vets, there is the exception that Korean or Viet Nam vets who are given a short time to live are included. THe goal is for all service men/women to see their monument before they die. Pass on the following link to help spread the word
