don’t get me wrong, I’d like to see Rudy go harder against the Clintons on this issue. But its not going to be easy when the sitting republican President undercuts the argument, and let’s people like Sandy Berger walk away scot free.

First of all, President Bush has been so entranced with that whole 'change the tone' rhumba rhythm in Washington that we'll never hear any criticism of the Billigula Administration so far as their inept, incompetent, 'look the other way' approach to terrorism.

Second, Clinton's entire approach to terrorism was to treat it like a 'law enforcement issue', which is why the FIRST WTC bombing in '93 didn't receive the attention it deserved from the Feds. Hell, Clinton didn't even bother to visit one freakin' soul from that first bombing, he wanted it to just disappear as an issue.

And for eight years, it mostly did, thanks to Bubba's 'vacation from history'.

BTW, you are absolutely right about Sandy Burglar getting a pass from the current so-called 'Justice Department'. Burglar should be cracking rocks at Leavenworth, as far as I'm concerned.
