....the Gang of 14, the M-F amendment and the Keating five..All the above pale in comparison to the War On Terror. I'm no McCain fan by any means, but my #1 concern is the WOT.
Everybody can make their own decision on this, but I know where my priorities are and the Keating Five does not register on my meter. :)

I think that McCain has taken so many sides of so many issues both right and left that he is left with a confused audience,not likely to fill his coffers with millions of bucks.

No, you are right, it does not.
However, a man has at various times sabataged the power of his own party’s president, weakening him at a time of war, it does not speak to his wisdom, or anything but his search for power. It is nothing if not short sighted.
He did not have to try to make GWB look bad in order to make himself look good. And it has obviously backfired on
him. It is sad.
