Well, I have yet to see the Rats not want to pay for the re-election with our Tax Dollars. If they open their mouths the Left wing nuts in their party squish them.

I remember that it was a Black Middle aged Male Teacher that gave the wrong spelling, and the very decent and polite Dan Quayle took all the heat. I get ticked off every time I hear this story told wrong.

Sorry to answer so late, I got involved in two Mystery illness Shows. one segment was similar to a Friend’s son inlaw’s illness which was stage three Colon Cancer. Doctor’s screwed up both by ignoring dramatic symptoms. I think I really can get into Stacy and Clinton’s Victim, and the dramatic change that happens within the Hour. It sure can take your mind off the Rats and their BDS. You see attractive people that really look and dress like Schlubs. Stacy and CLinton are very funny together and so totally different, they are a hoot.

Samantha, I live in a very blue state. In this very blue state, we have come to the point where even liberals think that the Big Dig was assinine policy. I work with self identifying liberals who fear the R word, and when you talk to them about policies, they say that the state legislators are clueless and out of touch with real voters and taxpayers. The challenge here is that no R is able to evade the knee jerk reaction, even if there are a lot of areas where policy wise we could agree.

I am not saying that they are middle of the road here, what I am saying is that even most (all but two in fact) libs I know here believe that the state legislature is too far to the left of the electorate.

That’s an opportunity.

That is a fine example of what I go through when I meet People and do not tell them I am Republican. We have Conversations and agree on most topics that are Conservative Republican Ideals, and they are shocked when I finally tell them that I am on the Republican Executive Committee and Republican Women’s Club. Then I really freak them out when I tell them if you are not a Republican and you agree with me on almost all the subjects, you are fooling yourself. Then I show them the card that lists all the reasons “why I am a Republican”, and they sort of look like they are struck dumb. We have to do a lot of legwork, but the key is to talk about things before you let them know your party affiliation. They are trapped because they have never seen the comparison between the parties which shows a stark contrast.

I want everyone to know this was such a GREAT THREAD—so many different freepers participated..and that makes for great debate and opinions.

15 - ThreePuttinDude - I am putting you on here for one reason..because you brought post #525, which was the transcript of Imus’ appearance at that Washington dinner that COULD have been the impetus for his eventual firing. I know a lot of us appreciated having that transcript to read.
