*** What about Duncan Hunter, a Marine, as was his father, and is his son. ***
FYI, Duncan Hunter was in the US Army and he enlisted. And he was an Airborne Ranger. That makes him what used to be called in 'the olden days' a 'three time volunteer' (very rare then).
And when Duncan was down at Ft Benning he likely double timed to a Jody something like this...
I want to be an Airborne Ranger
I want a life of blood and danger
I want to go to Vietnam
I want to kill ole Charlie Cong.
Airborne Ranger.
Blood and danger.
Airborne!
"jodies" varied, but it would be close.

Cleared that up in #85. Still glad to see people so knowledgeable of the man and so many comments (Positive ones) in this thread about him.

LOL, you must be out for a while, now.
FYI; "Jody" is the guy your girl is with while you're gone.
Airborne Ranger is a negative. One of the many pre-reqs for being a Ranger is being Airborne qualified. You cannot be a Ranger, without having that Wing n' Chute on your chest first.
But the song is correct.
:O)
