Our disgraceful politicos just don't see it that way. It would do wonders for the elimination of our drug and crime problem, but the NCOs and officers would have to have a lot more authority than they now have.I think a lot of politicians would like to do this. But it would be political suicide. Too many selfish NIMBY's who don't want to make the sacrifices to make America a better place if it means their little trevor has to learn some self discipline. I think America will have to hit rock bottom before it can get better.
Unfortunately I believe you to be correct.
The big thing that worries me is what our enemies will be doing to us as we continue this rather rapid descent.
