Anyone who is a Republican and who didn't serve in Viet Nam is a draft dodger.

Good one. Guess that would make my husband and me draft dodgers as well (never mind that he was up for the first year they ran the lottery - had a number well over 300 and thus wasn't drafted). I'm too young and female. Oh, and the better half just retired from almost 21 years of Army service, including two unaccompanied tours to Korea and 4 months in Kuwait.

:^)

My brother-in-law dodged the draft by enlisting in the Army before they could draft him. Is that sneaky or what? Is he a draft dodger for dodging the draft or is he a war hero like John Kerry because he went to Viet Nam? He’s not a Republican or a Democrat. He’s a Libertarian, so now I’m all confused. I thought I had it figured out.
