Who cares? Practically every politician today is a draft dodger, republican or democrat(Cheney, Bush and Clinton all dodged the draft one way or another). If you look at the “War Heroes” crew, McCain and Murtha, they’re not exactly models of good legislators themselves.

All the blabbering about draft dodging is stupid.

Why would you say Bush dodged the draft?

So Bush dodged the draft by joining the National Guard? Who else dodged the draft? Everyone in the Coast Guard? Perhaps all non-aircrewman in the USAF?

“(Cheney, Bush and Clinton all dodged the draft one way or another)”

You think that lying on FR is gonna get past us. Not. Bush served in the National Guard, so don’t be calling him a draft dodger. If you want to vote for a liberal then do it, but don’t lie to justify it.

See my tagline.

Your remark is an insult to all Americans who performed their military duty.

All the blabbering about draft dodging is stupid.

If you think strapping a fighter jet or bomber on you ass is draft dodging then you are truly stupid. I dare say you would piss on your self on launch.

Ido!

All the more reason to support Duncan Hunter! He is a decorated Vietnam veteran!

Its still BS that Bush dodged the draft! He flew fighter jets and twice volunteered for Vietnam. Draft dodging glory hounds sign up as journalists (Gore) or as Navy men during a non Navy war, who bring along video cameras (Kerry).

All the blabbering about draft dodging is stupid.

Is that because you didn't serve?

I did.

I've always believed every male should serve a minimum of two years in uniform and NO woman should be assigned to a combat job. The WAC needs to be reinstituted!

It’s all about character, more so to those of us who volunteered for a combat role in Vietnam.

Another Rudy hit piece form the Post —> Parrotted by the anti-Rudy crowd here = Hillary as President.

It’s THAT simple.

I’m not wholly in support of Rudy either, but at the moment we simply have NO other viable candidate. At some point, you guys are going to have to stop trying to eat your own - unless you’d RATHER have one of the demented RATS running the show.

You’re full of crap, calling Bush a draft dodger. And call abuse on me, I don’t care.

Flying Century-series jets was a high-risk miliary occupation, higher risk than being a REMF in Vietnam.

Bush and Cheney dodged the draft?

Is there no depth to which Rudiphilia will not sink?

All the blabbering about draft dodging is stupid.

It was certainly considered important when Slick Willie Clinton was soiling the White House with his presence.

But Rudy gets a pass because he can beat the other Clinton? Does that really make sense?

President Bush was a decorated fighter pilot. Vice President Cheney had valid legal deferments. Rush had a serious medical condition that prevented him from serving. The only one that fits the title of Draft Dodger is Clinton. Your liberalism is showing.
