Home of the carrot festival?

The last thing that might be grown in our desert is carrots! That explains why the cottontail raggits around here raid the "wild bird seed" that I set out for the quail.

I'm really thinking about heading over to Cat City on Sunday for a mini-FReep. I got a good start by getting my "Letter to the Editor" to the Press Enterprise (PE.com) published today.

She shouldn't escape this valley unscathed...
