Heading up health-care reform was the only major administrative job she has ever tried to do. And she was a complete flop at it. She had neither the grasp of policy substance, the managerial skills, nor the political smarts to do the job she was then given. And she wasn't smart enough to realize that she was in over her head and had to get out of the Health Care Czar role quickly.... there is no reason to think that she would be anything but an abysmal president I don't agree with this assessment. I think she knew just what she was doing. It was not a case where her execution flopped it was her socialist ideas that were bad.
However the frog has been slowing warming in the pot for over a decade now. She will be much slicker about it next time. Her next attempt will probably not flop. And that is what scares me now.

While I understand your point, DeLong was there. He witnessed her ineptness and stupidity firsthand.
I suspect he favored the socialist model and concluded from his direct observations that she failed to pull it off because she was too dumb and inept.
