Why did NJ Governor John Corzine feel the need to inject himself into the Imus Fiasco? Was he in such a hurry to wrap up the persecution in time order to make the 6:00 news that he neglected to fasten his seat-belt? His attempt to come under the limelights and capitalize on the debacle back-fired when his speeding SUV collided with a hit-and-run pickup. He sustained serious injuries and will have months to reflect on how his pandering landed him in bed for 6 months.
Exactly what purpose was served in his presiding over the meeting between Don Imus and the Rutgers Girls Basketball Team? And why was it held in his palatial Princeton mansion? Would the entire procedings not have been better served on the Rutgers campus, thereby drawing attention to the school rather than himself?
His vanity endangered his health and possibly his life and may ve ry well have cost him the chance of walking without pain for the rest of his life. Indeed, he'll have a long time to ponder his self-serving tendencies. Daily Poll: Should Gov Corzine Have Injected Himself Into This Controversy? Vote Now!
A broken femur bone sucks. I know, I’ve broken mine twice.
I'm sure he thinks the mansion belongs to him, but in fact it belongs to the people of New Jersey.
The guy is a two bit fraud.
Oh my God!! Imus is a national crisis !! God save us if our billionare Governor can’t attend the strategy conference on what to do. God SAVE US!!!
Last reports have Corzine as being under sedation. At least that’s something.
I predict NJ will double the fine for not wearing a seat belt to ensure another tragedy like this never happens again!
And, notice a HUGE Gas Guzzlin’ SUV saved the Governor’s life. Had he been a concerned green minded Dem and driving a three cylinder mini-sedan, he wouldn’t be in the ICU right now.
Please tell me that the Gov wasn’t pimping those ‘scarred for life’ poor victims for his own political gain.....and that his injuries weren’t compounded by his reckless regard of the N.J. seat belt law.
There are good folk there, but I don't know why.
I’m already dreading it.
After that he'll probably require motorists wear helmets.
We’re not as stupid as we seem. We’re stuck here, hostage to mortgages and plummeting resale values.
With all due respect to car accident victims, that is funny! Wonder when the driver of the red pickup truck will be nabbed?
If the red pickup exists.
What red pickup? Where was Karl Rove at the time in question?
ROFL.
Imus thinks the governor’s name is ‘hozine.
