Wow. Tucker Carlson, clad in that annoying bowtie, closes with: I nominate you, Jason Whitlock. What bowtie?
To: meg88
We half expected Sharpton to respond the way Scoop Jackson did when Whitlock blasted him in the interview with us whats with the black on black crime? The phony Scoop Jackson couldn't quite comprehend that Whitlock cares not a whit about his skin color but only about the content of his ignorant arguments.
Saw Jason Whitlock for the first time on ESPN's PTI last year and he appeared to be a very clear-thinking and fair-minded guy. Impressive. I'll be following his columns closely now.

I wonder if the transcriber was having fun w/ Rev. Al when he quoted him "Imus fell within the whole spear of that ..."
To: meg88
"Imus fell within the whole spear of that, and certainly within the spear of what we fight, civil rights. " Perhaps the Revrend said "sphere" instead? (Further comment deleted as better judgement kicked in.)

Whitlock was just on Jim Rome’s radio show and stuck to his guns. He didn’t back off a bit. And he caught a lot of grief in email responses for it—Rome said that email after the call was running about 75/25 in favor of what Whitlock said, with a fraction of those 25% being some really nasty stuff that called Whitlock a “traitor”, “white”, and “Uncle Tom”.

“I’ll be following his columns closely now.”
That is if this “Uncle Tom” still gets invited back to the Sports Reporters and still has a column to write.
After speaking the truth about the race pimps Booker T. Washington so eloquently wrote about Jason’s status may fall a bit within the hyper-Cultural Marxist journalism world.

Plenty of intellegent black Americans in this country and yet these two dumass "revs" are the self appointed leaders.
J.C. Watts, Bill Cosby, Condeleeza Rice, Alan Keyes, Thomas Solwell, Walter Williams etc.
I just don't get it.
Actually I do get it but don't understand it

Too bad ESPN would never allow Jason to appear on Rome’s TV show, his opinions are too dangerous! :)

WHITLOCK SHOULD BE THE HEAD OF THE N.A.A.C.P:He has spoken more truth about the race-baiters among black Americans than the ENTIRE REST OF THE LameStream Media combined!!

The NAACP is a criminal racist organization....just look at the crimes committed by the leaders of that organization and the lack of morality they possess....

Jason had a radio show in Kansas City. It was the most poorly run, poorly done radio show in the history of the medium. He was far, far too lazy to put anything resembling work into it. Whitlock is a self-promoting ass, who'll jump at any opportunity to get his name out there, not that much differently than Al or Jesse.
Don't get me wrong, though. Jason is absolutely correct in this, and it is something he's been fairly consistent on anytime he talks about racial issues. I am not, however, one of these who is going to throw away the whole history of a writer and pretend I'm his biggest fan just because he happens to write an article with which I agree. Heck, he's still the reason I won't subscribe to the Kansas City Star, responding to subscription solicitations with the question "Does Whitlock still work there?" When they respond that he indeed does, I tell them to get with me when he's no longer employed there.
Whitlock is a total jerk who just happens to be totally correct on this issue.
