A Mexican man was arrested on suspicion of murdering four people who were bound with duct tape, shot and left in a Jeep parked in a Fresno neighborhood last summer, police Chief Jerry Dyer said.
Leopaldo Omar Diaz, 21, of Mexico was arrested in East Palo Alto on Wednesday and accused of murdering Monica Rivera, 26, Onesimo Sauceda, 26, Leobardo Ortiz, 33, and Jose Cervantes, 38.
Evidence at the crime scene linked him to the killings that are believed to be drug-related.
The four Southern California residents were likely killed elsewhere and their bodies were driven to Fresno, where they were discovered after neighbors reported that they thought people were sleeping in the Jeep.
A man with Diaz, Mauricio Arroyo-Fabien, 29, was arrested on a 2004 drug warrant, but police did not say whether he was connected to the killings.
More arrests are possible, Dyer said.
Incomprehensible headline.
Hey dead, was that you?
basically saying that the killer was so brazen that he didn’t even try to hide the bodies - he just left the corpses sitting in a Jeep parked on a residential street.
Murders Americans currently aren’t doing : )
I added the comment in parens ,, the other was posted as found.. lol
And the article is extremely anti-Mexican as well, with the "of Mexico" thrown in after the name of each "migrant". The journalist is obviously a racist! /s
I don’t get it - why is it so easy for these illegals to kill/harm??? HOW in the world are they brought up? And why are there so many of them???
I thought the mexican guy himself was found dead in a jeep. I love headline jumbles.
