Respectfully, I do not. Treason would be giving data security codes to the Syrians, not merely meeting with them. As horrible as it is to many here, Pelosi - and many others - are duly elected representatives for a lot of people who believe we should leave, now.
My own opinion is that is, and has been silly to bother with Iraq and Afghanistan when the real enemy is the country from which 15 of the hijackers came from and that funds the Whabi proselytizing in this country. It is the wrong war in the wrong place, we are attacking Hydra heads instead of going to the heart of the matter, where the money and fanaticism come from. As long as there is fundamentalist Islam backed with oil money we are shedding our blood where we need not.

See it's interesting because the terrorists don't seem to agree with you about whether Iraq and Afghanistan are central frontlines in their war with the West.

Besides the letters and videos where they have announced the importance of defeating the Americans and Coalition Forces in Iraq, I think we got the message of the importance of Iraq when al-Qaeda aligned terrorist cells blew up people in Madrid and London as demands for them to pull out of Iraq.

Why, if al-Qaeda did not view Iraq as a central front in their war on the west, than why would they try to terrorize and intimidate these people and their leaders to abandon Operation Iraqi Freedom?

A final note - you make a generalization that because Nancy Pelosi went to Syria it is treason. I believe the author makes the point that it is clear that the actions of certain Democrat leaders, and the evidence she provided, made it clear that they were purposely trying to weaken the war effort that U.S. troops were involved in for political purposes.

They put the interests of their political gain, which means empowering America's enemies, ahead of the interests of the United States, its government and its people.

Like melanie Morgan says, the point is if that isn't treason than what is?

Pelosi - and many others - are duly elected representatives

But they are NOT part of the Executive Branch and they were NOT appointed to be ambassadors on behalf of the United States. Also, one of the members on that trip, Tom Lantos, stated, "We have an alternative Democratic foreign policy."

BTW, how exactly is the Logan Act unconstitutional and VIOLATING ARCTICLE 2, SECTION 2 constitutional?

Great idea! Attack our ally. Since Atta was Egyptian I’ll assume that Egypt is also on your hit-list.

Even without the attacks of 9/11, we and our allies were right to finally topple Saddam’s regime. I find it disturbing that many people have conveniently forgotten all of the UN Resolutions that Saddam defied. Justice was finally served to all of those who fought and died during Desert Storm. He started that war, he was allowed to remain in power IF he complied with the UN Resolutions. He chose not to and something HAD to be done.
