Feral animals are nobody's pets.



Although she doesn't look it, Spot, my feral 13-year-old, is as wild as the day I stuffed her inside my jacket and sprinted home with her.

She will not let herself be seen by outsiders and objects strenuously to being touched by anyone who's not me, although on occasion she has unbent enough to let my husband scratch her ears.

2 of my cats were 'feral'.....they are the BEST cats I'll ever have. They were pretty quick to tame since I gave them attention and food. People are so quick to judge and write them off. Poor misunderstood cats.
