Fawn,

You didn’t answer the question(s) that I asked you back after answering your questions. Your posts appear to be strictly emotionally based. Look at this from a practical point of view.

I don’t paint with an unfair broad brush. I didn’t say I had anything against responsible cat owners, only irresponsible cat owners and their cats.

And yes, cats are too be licensed as well. They have vaccinations that are required as well. Don’t try to tell me that it is the “natural status” of cats to wander and then tell me that dogs, descendants of wild animals aren’t prone to wandering as well. Faulty logic.

And btw, dismissing the cats behavior as “...just the way it is.” is not an answer.

Is this your question?
Why is it that cat owners (most) feel it is important to let their cats roam the neighborhood while we dog owners are forced to keep our dogs restrained/confined?

I answered it. You wanted to know why cat owners 'feel' that way. I told you. You are the one who is emotionally charged. You don't like a cat crossing your precious yard. But birds pooping, etc is ok. You have no right to capture someones cat and misplace it. Let it be....like I let my neighbors dog be when it feels like running behind my yard. Don't be so petty and cruel.
