I won’t have an “outside” animal and I don’t live “out there”. I live right in the heart of Houston on a very busy street. I have had many cats but now I have developed an allergy to them. My 2 Jack Russell Terriers and my Black Mouth Cur are trying to keep me safe from all the rabbits, raccoons, possums, skunks, armadillos and squirrels that come into the yard. Yep, right here in the middle of one of the largest cities in the country, all that wildlife. I am always surprised by it.

I’m guessing that your terriers are better at it than a cat could be. And I know what you mean. We live in the middle of the KCMO metro area but close to a stream and parkway so have owls, rabbits, deer, fox, racoons, etc etc.
