Yes, the university with its own zip code... LOL.
Glad to hear traffic was not worse than its usual awful for you...:)
“405 parking lot”=hehe.
Well, lainie, I’m sure those BH residents wasted no time contacting lawyers yesterday and, if they watched KNBC.... voila! LADWP has some ‘splainin’ to do.
I was scanning around on my new scanner, and actually heard a county worker talking about the City of Beverly Hills signing a disaster declaration so they got reimbursed by the state of CA for the fire fighting.
I was kind of giggling...after all, it wasnt exactly the Cedar Fire, or the San Diego Firestorm that went on yesterday.
Sounds like City of Beverly Hills watches that bottom line, and they know how to cover their a**.

these are funny! guess those million dollar homes dont come with a guaranteed power source...
What’s REALLY funny is that these folks are able to get online to complain about the power outage. Never mind the fishies dying and the food spoiling, it’s more important to get online.
Batteries? A library? The office? Starbucks?
This one is good:
“No power still in Laurel Canyon - 24 hours now- Absolutely ridiculous that the power infrastructure in Los Angeles is so fragile that we will be without power for 3 days possibly. I thought we lived in the 21st century not the dark ages!

And that they are home all day posting complaints!
*Shakin’ my head*
