A white man said the words, another white man did the firing (Imus and Moonves).
The end result being achieved by and dependent on the existence of unrelenting, tireless pressure, intimidation, euphoria/outrage (both genuine and feigned) and lastly and especially hypocrisy, is what makes that a hard sell for me.
I would like to see all of us equally accountable. And that just doesn't appear to be happening here.
As for CBS, I believe they made the proper business decision - what's best for business, anyway, which is what they pretty much have to do, I think.
