It was just announced on the "Mike and the Mad Dog Show" on WFAN (Imus's home base): Imus is out of a job on radio as well.
He will not even be on the air tomorrow.
Unfortunately it’s a market driven by political correctness.
Not conservative but for all who have blasted him as a liberal who was eaten by his own, THE MAN IS A REGISTERED REPUBLICAN and was never ashamed to admit it. He turned against the administration as the war progressed.
Leadpenny I may be wrong but didn't Imus admit to voting for GWB over albore in 2000 and hasn't he said he will vote for McCain this time around?

I’ve only heard him for about 5 minutes and until a few days ago mixed him up with Howard Stern. And, btw, I thought that when Howard Stern was discussed recently with regard to the Anna Nicole case, that she was married to the radio guy :-)
I am NOT up on these things.

Yet, didn’t he save Bill’s bacon when he was running back in ‘92? He has had terrible things to say about Bush, too. The fact that Obama is taking credit for this and Dick Morris is saying that’s a good thing worries me for our freedoms.
