There were two math profs. But you are right about the lamebrained “subjects” most of the others in the Lynch Mob claim to teach.

Anybody want to guess what would have happened if it was members of the Duke University BASKETBALL team who had been accused?
In case anyone is interested, 3 black football players from the University of Minnesota were arrested this past Friday for an alleged rape.......
OK, so it't not news...... sorry

Got some global warming going on there.

If nothing else, they can make the Gang of 88 and Duke hire some expensive lawyers and stew in their own diarrhea for a year or so...
That is reason enough for me.

As do you and I. Pretty succinct
statement...”Brodhead has a ‘history’!”
Specifically?

True of any academic institution.
Brodhead and faculty aside, those
kids were sweet meat for a guy
needing a hinge for votes to win
an election. THAT’S what the
investigation will be looking at,
too.

I hope that the wrongly indicted team members collect some major money from Duke University and the 88 fools who placed the prejudicial ad denouncing them in the newspaper.

It gives a new definition to “class-action suit”. Normally, lots of people sue one entity. Here, three people should be suing a large gaggle of nattering folks.
To: Reaganesque
From the outset, I have been careful to note that these students were entitled to the presumption of innocence and I looked to the legal system to determine the merit of the charges. A bald-face lie.

True or false re Yale, that has nothing
to do with his not being “on the bus”
long enough to override a Duke faculty
which had tried and convicted these boys
on day one of Nafong’s charges.
To: Grendel9
I was answering a question & it speaks to his character or the lack of it.

I’ll buy that. The same could be
said of the entire Duke faculty...
even those who remained quiet instead
of jumping to the “guilty” verdict.
To: Reaganesque
What a total crock of crap.
The gang of 88, the two strippers, the "investigators" this weasel and the entire DA department along with all their families should be exiled....they can all write books about American witch hunt victims living in some gulag.ABC can hype it, Disney can follow up with a movie.
I hope the falsely accused end up owning that left wing nest......Now let’s move on to Brown University, home for "special students" only.

“Since we haven’t gone through a normal legal process, we don’t know what really happened,” said Duke biology professor Sheryl Broverman.”The fact the charges were dropped doesn’t mean nothing happened. It just means information wasn’t collected appropriately enough to go forward.”
Broverman’s diarrhea of the mouth just netted the falsely accused another zillion.

"Our students" It reminds me of the old Lone Ranger joke where he and Tonto are being chased by thousands of angry Indians. He and Tonto ride into a canyon only to find they are trapped and now face imminent doom. The Lone Ranger turns to Tonto and says "Well, Tonto we've faced some tight spots before, old friend, but I don't see how we're going to get out of this one." To which Tonto responds "What do you mean 'we', white man?"
To: Reaganesque
Exactly.
lol
My father used to tell that joke and it certainly fits this situation.
