Use the right tool for the job.

Linux has its place. Solaris has its. OSX has its. As yet Vista does not. HPUX and SysV no longer have a place.

Windows 2000 remains the best OS MS ever shipped.

But Solaris is SysV. UNIX(r) System V Release 4, IIRC.
