Fred Thompson on Neil Cavuto FoxNews—Today: Wednesday 4-11 at 4pm EASTERN
Posted on 04/11/2007 10:05:53 AM PDT by cpforlife.org
Just saw Bill Hemmer with Neil show a preview.
Thompson said he was diagnosed with the "good" type of lymphoma a few years ago and wanted to get the info out sooner rather than later. Neil surmised that Thompson also wanted to gauge the response of the people.

My response - if he’s healthy, his doctors say he’s healthy - and he wants to run, run!

Hopefully more will be discussed in the interview.
I’m hoping he addresses the issue of abortion, because there are many conflicting reports on his position(s) on the web.

I’ve been sick in bed since Thursday before Good Friday, so I haven’t had an opportunity to seek the data we mentioned regarding Senator Thompson. Sorry, don’t give up. As soon as I hear from them, I’ll post it.

This was very sobering news when I saw it on early morning TV. I wish Fred Thompson well and hope his cancer stays in remission, but it sorta reminds one of Paul Tsongas who ran for President a few years back and whose cancer was in remission but a short while later he died from it. My prayers will go out for Mr Thompson and his family.

LOL.
Pretty good defense to being mean to that snob-in-populists clothing (Edwards).

Well, with this in mind, Fred needs to pick a VP that the people wouldn’t mind having as a President in case his condition turns for the worse. I hope it doesn’t but this is something he will need to consider. He will not be able to pick anybody.
I hope he runs. He makes sense.

Not to be morbid, but this is why we have a VP. In case the worst happens, God forbid, we have a VP, hand picked by Fred Thompson, to step up.
