Well Fred Thompson who you support got slammed by the Clinton’s when he was in the senate and he also didn’t vote to impeach Clinton also he helped come up with and voted for McCain/FeinGold so it works both ways

Yep you are correct, but Fred said the reason he didn’t want to run again is because he didn’t like what he saw while he was there, the same reason that Zell Miller gave....now there is a person I would love to see run...I loved his address to the Republican delagation....I have read all his books, and if ever a party has left their people, the party of democrats have done that....
