"...Weisberg said Diehold was so stunned it did not get the contract that it now believes "it's worth the time and money" of going to court to challenge the contract's award, even though the company at this stage has no hard evidence of unfair treatment.

Galvin yesterday called the Diebold suit "frivolous" and unlikely to succeed. "My office made a very reasonable selection after a long, open process of evaluating the voting machines," Galvin said.

"We are entirely confident we will prevail," he said..."

I’d rather think that Diebold has just been “Foxed”. The better product had nothing to do with the selection here.

The Democrats have abandoned their debates to be broadcast on Fox because Fox has been villified as a right-wing mouthpiece.

Diebold has been similarly villified by left-wing kooks and conspiracy theorists as to their participation in fixing of previous elections awarded to GWB.

Hence, they’ve been “Foxed”. Or maybe it’s Fox that’s been “Diebolded”.

Actually, though, Diebold’s product, in this case, is inferior, overpriced, and not up to the job.

It’s unreliable and the manufacturer refuses
to offer any assurance that it’d work at all.
