Liberalism teaches them to be passive and to be victims cowering in fear and they end up dead. Battered women should get a gun to protect themselves. Its the greatest equalizer to the terror of being hunted down by crazed exes. In a nutshell, liberalism kills; conservatism saves lives.

If I had my druthers, restraining orders would read something like this:

The addressee, Mr. John Q. Public, is hereby put on notice that in the event he is killed in the abode of Mrs. Jane R. Public or the grounds immediately surrounding same, the police will be strongly inclined to regard his death as lawful self-defense.

That would do far more to protect women than the present "restraining order" system.

Universities have a conflict of interest when it comes to protecting women or even young men out alone from rape. If the student body was allowed to protect itself from rape and violence with firearms, the universities would inevitably be losing athletes critical to their financial plan. Follow the money
