I always thought that was part of Saddam’s strategy; fade the majority of the Republican Guard into the civilian population so to fight coalition forces in the manner they are doing now. Place stashes of weapons and bomb making material all around Iraq and across the border into Syria for later use.

No doubt in my mind, corlorde. Savage's plan of creating a vacuum in Iraq is a pretty good idea, IMO. Whether it would work or not is a different story, but it's better than any of the "ideas" coming from the Bush administration.

I see where our infidel Kewlhand tek is in one of those National Guard units who are getting ready to mobilize to go over to that hellhole called Iraq.
