I hope Imus is NOTING who is it that is defending him... yes, the stupid conservatives. Many here have said the same thing - and I agree- they don’t care to listen to him, but he has a right to free speach.

I part company on this. I do remember Imus from his early days in NYC. Didn’t like him then, either. If he had called my daughter a ‘ho’ on national media, I would demand his resignation. Failing that, I would let my attorney have a chat with his.
Words cannot be un-said. The damage is already done. Apologies are not sufficient.
Is there a double standard? Absolutely, but that is insufficient as a defense for atrocious behavior. I don’t care at all for Al Sharpton and his crowd of race baiters. Their response is predictable and one-sided as usual.
