What, a link between the sun and the weather on earth? Try again.

Apparently, some far-out mad scientists believe that the sun actually radiates heat and light and that this is what keeps the earth warm enough to support life (discounting the mild warming from the earth's molten core).

Shocking stuff. But I've read about it a number of times over the years.

Does this mean since SUV’s (driven by Conservatives, not the private jet Al Gore owns) are making not only the earth warm up, but Mars and the sun as well? Oh! I get it.
