It is ironic. I cannot say how often when I was in college I found myself trying to keep my jaw from dropping to my chest and forcing myself to remember my upbringing and not shout, “ARE YOU CRAZY??!!!” I felt like Zero Mostell in “The Producers” — “How do they find me?”

I left so many places because I couldn’t stand the drugs, the open sex, illegal abortions. College was like a descent into hell. I got through it with as much dignity as I could salvage. It is necessary to have the degree, but 90 percent of my experiences exemplified the old adage, “Everyone has a purpose in life, even if it’s to serve as a bad example.”

I have to agree here. I'm a college student here at Duke, and I'm within a month of graduating. I can't wait to get out of here; my time here has been so awful, starting from the very first day of my freshman year.

This is one of the reasons why I like FR. I'm probably the one here at Duke who would agree with your statement. I'm not crazy! :)
