Actually, I have not commented on this matter.... mainly because I wish "a pox on all their houses" -- I can't stand Imus, but like most/all here I detest the rampant political correctness and hypocrisy of the racist race baiters like Sharpton and Jesse Jackoff even more. As for NBC, suspending Imus for 2 weeks is not nearly enough -- they should suspend themselves for 2 weeks!! (or more) Wouldn't that be wonderful if NBC and PMSNBC announced they were suspending all broadcast operations for 2 weeks in public penance for their "institutional racism"........

Seriously, though, it is disturbing when any major public institution caves on something like this..... the fact that they have the right to enforce their own standards on their employees does not mean that they have drawn the lines intelligently, or that any such PC-nonsense should be tolerated without objection and expressions of contempt.

Well I am gloating because the PC rules have long been established and I do not wish to see liberals get special treatment. However, as far as I am concerned if he only gets suspended that does constitute special treatment so I hope that he is fired.
