Imus is the only public figure caught in this type of stupid statement that actually HAS apologized. No, “if anyone feels bad about what I said” type of apology. He said he was wrong and is going to personally meet with the team and ask for their forgiveness which they have no obligation to give. He is the only public figure I can remember who even knows the difference between offering an apology and asking for forgiveness. I’ve been greatly impressed at his response to this.
Take his suspension like a man and come back in two weeks and do your job.
I still won't listen to him though.
