My wife and I had it out over this earlier today; while it was wrong for Imus to refer to the women as “hos”, I’ll be damned if Al Sharpton is the one to take the high road on this.

If a “mainstream” black host had said the same thing, Sharpton and Jackson wouldn’t have said a damn thing. Conversely, if I was still on the radio and said the same thing, I’d have been just as vilified, because, as some people have insisted, “You’re not really black.”

And that would have been simply because I am a self-identified conservative who happens to be black.

Just damn.

Sharpton and Jackson don’t have a leg to stand on and have no moral high ground to jump to .. especially when it comes to throwing derogatory names around

Imus was wrong and way out of line with the things he and his side kick said about this group of women .. and wrong to blame all racists remarks on the right wing

Well...you are very right...because Alan Colmes is taking the side of IMUS! LOL

We know why...cause Imus is a Lib lover over on MSNBC!!

I have never heard of the comic that Hannity and Colmes has on...but he says he wants Imus to be able to say “nappy headed hoes”.....and he wants to be able to say “straight haired white hoes”....

He is the minority minority on this show.
