Imus is no fool. It's these LMSM/Newsweak/NYSlimes, celebrities, etc. who buy his Imus Ranch products, Green products, and donate to his ranch and other causes he promotes...just IMHO as to why he courts them so.

The news conference this morning from Rutgers was overkill IMO... black people dise white people every day; Al Sharpton and Charles whatshisname from Harlem say very nasty things about white people all the time and no one blinks an eye...this is about a lot more than Don Imus being politically incorrect.

I am quite convinced he would have gotten away with all this if he hadn’t attacked David Gregory last week. Blamed him for the poor ratings, etc.

So it was okay for some old ignorant trash to attack a bunch of college kids on a national scale. But it is overkill for them to respond when they were the ones that were insulted. I guess the kids who were at the receiving end at a unprovoked attack, don’t deserve the a national stage to respond.
I want just one person without bringing up other people or issues to tell me what these young girls did to deserve this.
It wasn't about those girls -- really.... it was typical IMUS, stupid and over the top. He has said much worse about the POTUS and other people..
What is my point is Al Sharpton, Jessy Jackson etc., all say much worse and HAVE done harm (as in Tawala Brawley and more) and there has been no retribution -- why? Because they are black and therefore immune.
If you are going to hold people responsible for what they say -- then it needs to work on both sides of the street. It doesn't and that is what makes me angry about this...
IMUS went on Sharpton's show to appologize... that is more than Sharpton has ever done ... and Sharpton was rude and said he didn't want to hear his appology. He didn't invite him to appologize, but to insult him on the air for his own ratings.
What I am angry about is we have become so politically correct that we are going to destroy this country because of it.
Rude is rude -- no matter who says it, but either hold everyone responsible equally for rude comments or hold no one responsible.
