The thing I dont understand is that people like yourselves (who lived through first time) are not shouting it from the rafters how it was a failed policy and did not work. George Bush jr was not part of politics during that time and in fact was partying pretty much during that time and maybe did not realize what was going on and the effect of the policies. I know that you are shouting from the rafters, but I am talking of the other 20 million or so. There are people shouting, but our governments at local, state and federal levels for the most part are deliberately ignoring the wishes of legal citizens. There are a few voices in the wilderness (Hunter, Tancredo etc.) but for the most part, those that are opposed are being ignored by those that could make a difference.
This is the one issue that I think an impeachment could be successful except that the dems don't want to enforce the laws either.

The issue of allowing an invasion of our country borders on treason. Our military defends the borders of other countries but not our own. EPA was ordered to enforce laws. Same should be in cases of illegal aliens who not only get perks, they also get to sue for large sums those who try to stop them.
